What is the church to me now? Is it a bunch of men dressed in coloured robes reading from a book I’ve already read before? Is it a building filled with nice windows? Is it a place that is meant to bring warmth . . . now filled with cold hearts? Is it that place our religion teachers recommend we go to on Sundays? Is it a wicker basket filled with pennies? Is it anything anymore? What is so significant about the Church to me now?

Overpaid or Undervalued?What is the first thing we think of when we hear the word Athletes? We might think of those people, who run onto a field, head held high, basking in their own glory. Maybe we think of polished cleats, skates, and runners, flying across the field. We think of talent. We think of those people that put their bodies out there every other night, prepared to rejoice in victory or accept defeat. We see sweat, blood and tears. This year, our viewpoint on Athletes might have changed due to the NHL extravaganza. We might see them as overpaid, cocky, selfish little boys and girls who think of themselves and only themselves. This, to me, is not the mindOverpaid or Undervalued?
